Spoon Bread Battered Cod and Shrimp
| 1 lb. Fillet of Cod (cut in 1-inch pieces) |
½ lb. 30/40 ct. shrimp (p&d) |
| 1 cup Bisquick flour |
1 cup Corn meal |
| 2 eggs |
1/3 cup Beer (not light) |
| ½ cup Buttermilk |
2 tsp. sugar |
| ¼ tsp. Garlic powder |
¼ tsp. salt |
| Dash of Tabasco |

Mix all ingredients except seafood in bowl. Preheat approximately 1 qt. of
cooking oil to 350 degrees. Coat seafood with batter, fry until seafood floats
in grease and is golden brown. Drain on paper towel, salt immediately after
removing. Serve with malt vinegar and tarter sauce.
