Bama Sea Products is a major producer of domestic shrimp including Browns, Whites and the highly prized Key West Pink Shrimp. In addition, we produce in excess of a million pounds of fresh fish each month. Fresh fish species include, Salmon, Grouper, Snapper, Mahi, Tilapia, Trout and several other varieties, making us a leader in the seafood industry. Being the leader in quality is a common goal throughout the industry. However, Bama has taken it to another level. We have a full staff of Quality Control personnel that ensure our product meets the highest level of quality. Since Bama was the first domestic seafood company to institute HACCP in the early nineties, we feel obligated to stay ahead of the industries typical requirements. For example, our Director of Q.C. has degrees in Zoology and Marine Biology that concentrated on Ichthyology and Molecular Genetics. The Assistant Director has the same credentials and is working on his doctorate degree. In addition, we contract two USDC inspectors daily that act as a third party review team for us.
